WIT MANACAS AÑEJO RON EXTRA 70CL.
In 1948, Juan Jimenez Villalba, foreman our Jerez winery, left for Cardenas, Cuba, the care of the barrels of our wine and brandies. There he discovered the exceptional qualities that they had to age local rum.
Some colonial Haciendas, with Juan traded his rum barrels jerezanas. A barter appreciated.
After the Cuban Revolution, Juan managed to repatriate some of those barrels, creating a small hearth in our cellars in Jerez.
Currently, this Extra Añejo Ron is made faithfully following annotations or lurching of our dear foreman, Juan Jimenez Villalba.
Ron Manacas is made by a carefully studied selection of the best rums in Venezuela, Panama, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. With a Caribbean raising five years and aged in the Solera Juan Jimenez Villalba of American oak barrels that have previously hosted Oloroso sherries and Amontillados.
