Ballantines history dates back to 1827, when George Ballantine opened a small shop in Edinburgh whiskey. The Ballantine's Blue, released in 1950, is made from a blend of more than 40 different whiskeys, aged twelve years or more. It is a complex distillate with ajerezada mellow aromas and wood, with a full mouth, deep, long and slightly salty. It is suggested to drink alone, at room temperature, just refreshed with a few drops of mineral water.
